Shivom is a passionate advocate of the potential for positive transformation of communities and places through non & for-profit Entrepreneurship, Infrastructure and Finance.

Growing up in rural India he has seen firsthand how lack of infrastructure has severely impeded people’s lives. Enthused to be an agent for change, he took numerous initiatives when in University introducing global organisations, establishing student networks, and left university as a Civil Engineering graduate to assist UK based Civil Engineering businesses set up design teams in India. To understand this business further, he worked as a Highway Engineer with WSP Bangalore GCC and eventually went on to build Ascendia with a purpose to repose faith in our profession and create global opportunities locally.

He extends this mission with ICE as Membership Development Specialist by representing the Institution in India and continues to help Universities, Students and Professionals raise the profile of Civil Engineering profession and in achieving their professional qualifications with the ICE.

In leisure, Shivom enjoys music or plays Tabla, reads books, visits unique restaurants or hotels with cultural or indigenous mystique, or watches movies, his favorite being the types of ‘Succession’, ‘The Diplomat’ and such like.
