Meena Saxena has joined the UK India Business Council (UKIBC) as Principal Advisor – Representing Durham University 

Ms Meena Saxena Over the past three decades, has worked across some of India’s most prominent academic institutions, leading global partnerships, shaping academic programs, and driving internationalisation strategies. At NMIMS University, she headed the International Linkages office, where she forged impactful collaborations across the UK, Europe, the US, Australia and Asia, and facilitated major international grants.

At the Indian School of Business (ISB), Ms. Saxena was instrumental in setting up the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Case Development, which published over 150 cases with Harvard Business Publishing and Ivey Publishing. She also contributed significantly to faculty engagement and alumni outreach, helping position ISB as a globally recognized institution.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Saxena served as Vice Principal – Management at Jai Hind College, where she launched one of Mumbai University’s most successful Bachelor of  management studies (BMS) program. In 2000 she Co-founded and played a pivotal role in establishing The Bombay School of Business, a pioneering B-school with a focus on e-Business

With a long-standing commitment to advancing international education, Meena Saxena brings deep expertise and insight to her new role. She looks forward to working closely with UKIBC stakeholders to strengthen UK-India educational cooperation through policy advocacy, transnational education, and collaborative research.
