Henk Potts

Henk Potts joined Barclays Bank in 1998 as a graduate and worked as a Stock Market Analyst for Barclays Stockbrokers, focusing on UK equities, before rising to the position of global Equity Strategist in 2001.

In 2018 he was appointed Director, Market Strategist EMEA for Barclays Private Bank, where he works as part of a team formulating and communicating investment strategy to internal and external clients.

In his current role, Henk analyses a wide variety of asset classes, including equities, currencies and commodities, as well as ascertaining and explaining the effects of macroeconomic changes on financial markets.

Based in London, he works in the UK and across a wide range of other jurisdictions including Monaco, Geneva, Russia Cyprus, Bermuda and throughout the Middle East and Africa, where he interacts with private banking and intermediary clients.

arif ahmad

Arif has recently taken on the role as Chair of the PwC UK India Business Group.  He is an experienced Partner based in Leeds and has a close affinity to India where he was born, though he has lived in the UK from the age of 1.  He joined PwC in 1996 and became a Partner in 2009.  He was Leeds Office Senior Partner from 2013 to 2016, and head of one of PwC’s London Audit business units from 2016 to 2019.  In addition to his India role, he is the Risk line of service market leader for private business and private equity nationally, and he also leads our private business practice across the North of England.

Arif is married to Meena, a GP, and they have 2 children aged 9 and 8.  Cricket is a big passion and he still plays, captaining his local 2nd team, and he coaches the U11s and U9s where his son plays.

Piusha Bose

Piusha is a Counsel at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer based in London and she co-heads the firm’s global India Focus Group. Piusha specialises in high-value and complex cross-border M&A deals with nearly 20 years of experience. Over the course of her career spanning London, New York, and India, Piusha has acted for many of the world’s leading corporations, private equity firms and investment banks.  Her practice covers a broad range of corporate transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, and joint ventures in jurisdictions across the world. She has extensive experience involving emerging markets, such as India.
