Eversheds Sutherland’s Diversified Industrials Conference
Eversheds Sutherland’s annual Diversified Industrials Conference is bringing together a whole host of leading experts in this field, to present and participate on topical issues and key challenges facing the industry.
Keynote speaker James Landale, from the BBC, will be providing a valuable insight into the economic challenges and impact facing industrial companies post Brexit and the new Trump Administration. James is an award-winning journalist, broadcaster and author who has reported on British politics for more than two decades, covering five general elections and interviewing every prime minister since John Major. He is currently the BBC’s Diplomatic Correspondent and he has also presented a variety of programmes on television and radio including the Andrew Marr Show, The Daily Politics, The World at One, and Westminster Hour.
The conference will also include a panel session on the subject of ‘Global Industrial Strategy’. Panellists include Lord John Hutton and Gavin Lambert from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, who will provide insights into a number of issues and developments regarding Brexit, the UK governments proposed industrial strategy and the impact this is likely to have on industrial businesses, globally.
Other panel sessions will be hosted on new technology and digital developments, corporate investigations and M&A along with presentations on supplier risk management and export control sanctions.
