Emma Sheldon most recently was Group Marketing Director for UK medical products manufacturer Vernacare – responsible for leading marketing and market access activities across 48 countries and six continents. She has led the implementation of a new international expansion strategy, resulting in significant export growth and opening up new markets in southern Asia, the Middle East and across Europe.
She has also headed up Vernacare’s international innovation team, which works in partnership with patients and healthcare providers to develop and bring to market next generation infection prevention products.
Over the past 20 years Emma has built businesses internationally and led cross-functional teams in marketing, sales and new product development. This broad experience spans the healthcare, IT, and manufacturing sectors, including senior roles at medical products giants, Chiesi and Abbot Laboratories.
Emma is a professional coach and member of the Institute of Directors. She sits on the Industry Board of the University Technical College, University of Bolton and is also a UKTI North West Export Champion. Emma is a member of the Institute of Directors and is currently studying a Global Executive MBA with Manchester Business School.
