This is to inform the general public that fraudsters, posing as representatives of the UK India Business Council India Pvt. Ltd. (UKIBC), are extracting financial benefits from the public. We want to inform you that UKIBC does not contact the public via unsolicited calls or emails requesting money or any other personal information. UKIBC is not connected to, associated with, or affiliated with any manner whatsoever with such fraudsters & impersonators. All members of the public and stakeholders are requested to take note, exercise due diligence, and not fall prey to fraud or swindling perpetrated by individuals who impersonate themselves as employees of the UKIBC.

The fraudsters send attractive, fictitious offers to the public via letters and emails, using false imitations of UKIBC letterhead and purportedly signed by individuals impersonating UKIBC executives/senior officials. The fraudsters thereafter persuade the victims to deposit money into fraudulent bank accounts for membership registration, with the assurance that they will receive a monetary benefit, inter alia, in the form of investments from companies outside India. We reiterate that our organisation neither collects money from the general public for membership nor promises any such monetary benefit.
