Daxa Bharadwa has over 8 years’ experience in events management developing an in-depth knowledge in the strategic planning and delivery of a range of high-level events. She currently heads the events department for UKIBC, responsible for managing the implementation of all events delivered across the UK and India.
Daxa regularly works with the wider team in implementing UKIBC’s marketing and membership strategies to ensure our events enhance the organisation’s insights, networks, policy advocacy, and services.
Since joining UKIBC in 2010, Daxa has directly managed and overseen the delivery of over 600 high-profile events from concept to execution – including 5 inward trade missions and 10 outward delegations, liaising with internal and external stakeholders (such as business, Government and trade associations) to ensure events run to the highest corporate standards. These events include exclusive Chair and CEO dinners, VIP roundtables, seminars, workshops, digitally led events (webinars), and trade missions.
She has further managed the planning and delivery of the India-UK Business Convention in Delhi, two annual business Summits in the UK, UKIBC’s televised prime-time discussion at the India-UK FutureTech Festival in Delhi, meetings of the UK-India Joint Economic and Trade Committee, and the UK-India CEO Forum attended by the Prime Ministers of both countries.
