Survey: Ease of Doing Business in India

By UK India Business Council (UKIBC)

Following Theresa May’s important first bilateral visit to India, we are launching this survey to collect views on how UK companies see the operating environment in India. Is Mr Modi’s Government delivering its ‘red carpet’ commitment?

When we conducted this survey last winter, at the time of Mr Modi’s visit to the UK, the majority of respondents believed that India’s ease of doing business was already improving. Full results of the 2015 survey are here.

The responses this 2016 survey will form part of a submission to the Government of India as it prepares for its 2017 budget.

Your feedback will be valuable in encouraging a continued focus on ‘ease of doing business,’ so we would be extremely grateful if you could take the time to make your views heard.

If you would like to discuss the survey or ‘ease of doing business’ in India, please get in touch at tara.panjwani@ukibc.com.

The deadline for completing the survey, which you can find here, is 16 December.
