As the Chief India Economist at HSBC Securities & Capital Markets (India) Private Limited, Pranjul Bhandari is responsible for developing the firm’s position on macroeconomics and public policy in India as well as leading the firm’s economics research franchise from Mumbai. Prior to joining HSBC, Pranjul completed a resident fellowship at the IMF in Washington DC after graduating as a Mason Fellow from the Harvard Kennedy School. Previously, she worked at India’s Ministry of Finance with the Chief Economic Advisor and at the Planning Commission with the Deputy Chairman. She has held roles as an economist covering Asian markets at Goldman Sachs and at the UK’s Department for International Development. Pranjul also holds a Master’s in Economics from the University of Cambridge, UK and a BA in Economics from St.Stephen’s College, New Delhi.

Vaidison Krishnamurty is a Partner with the Deals practice in PwC India and leads the India-UK corridor for the firm. With over 18 years of dedicated deals experience, of which eight years were in the UK, Vaidison specialises in providing deal advisory services to both private equity and corporate clients in relation to acquisitions and disposals. Vaidison works with UK companies looking to invest in or trade with India and similarly, with Indian companies looking to invest in the UK. He was a member of the UKIBC’s India board until 2019. Vaidison is also a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant.

Piusha is a Counsel at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer based in London and she co-heads the firm’s global India Group. Piusha specialises in high-value and complex cross-border M&A deals with nearly 20 years of experience. Over the course of her career spanning London, New York, and India, Piusha has acted for many of the world’s leading corporations, private equity firms and investment banks. Her practice covers a broad range of corporate transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, and joint ventures in jurisdictions across the world. She has extensive experience involving emerging markets, such as India.
