As we set our priorities for the year, it is no surprise that the path to sustainable energy is among the top players. The UK and India are becoming more energy reliant, which in turn offers more opportunities for collaboration in ideas and technology. While the UK seeks to fulfil its commitment to be net-zero by 2050, and India looks to solve the outstanding challenge of how you actually power the huge increase of electricity needed as more production comes online, we will observe policy, regulatory, and financial improvements needed to aid in the successful completion of both.

Joining us for this session are industry experts Debasish Mishra and Jimit Devani, Partners at Deloitte, and Alex Marshall, Group Marketing and Compliance Director at Clarke Energy.

In this interactive session, as well as answering your questions, our speakers will discuss:

  • Major opportunities for UK companies in the renewable and cleaner energy sectors in India
  • Expectations from this year’s COP26 meeting being hosted by the UK in Glasgow – further areas of UK-India collaboration leading up to the meeting and beyond
  • Green Energy and ESG funding in India
  • How the UK could support with sharing good practices in regulatory and legal areas for further development and adoption of clean energy in India
