Dan has been involved in a number of start-ups both in the UK and India, being instrumental in institutional fund raising rounds and managing investor relationships while building the businesses. He returned to the UK in 2007 after a six year stinte in India as CEO/Chairman of Vertex (India) right from start up to a 2,800 strong organisation. Vertex was acquired by Oak Hill Capital in 2007 for $425m. While in India he sat on the committees of industry bodies in the IT sector and remains an active member of the Indian Angel Network.
He was CEO of ACIS, a Carlyle Group backed technology business until recently. Having delivered a financial restructure, significant sales pipeline growth and expanded the international footprint. ACIS was acquired by Vix Technology Group in August 2010.
