UKIBC produces insightful research papers, reports and regular publications for the purpose of informing our members and wider stakeholders about the India business opportunity. We make sure that our research is relevant, current and correlates directly with the needs of UK companies. Our work does not stop with the publication of a report – an extensive implementation programme guarantees that genuine links are made between Indian and British businesses. UKIBC plays a key role securing a favourable regulatory environment for trade and investment between our two countries. This includes acting as a mouthpiece for UK PLC to both Indian and UK Governments in order to create the conditions whereby the relative strengths of both countries have the greatest chance of success.
UK Parliamentary Engagement UKIBC maintains a programme of parliamentary engagement which seeks to educate and inform Ministers and MPs about the live issues in the UK-India trade relationship. Joint Economic Trade Committee (JETCO) The Government to Government negotiations which address issues of market liberalization and market access are conducted through the JETCO process. The UKIBC plays a key role in feeding the views of the UK business community into this process with a view to achieving favourable outcomes for UK companies. UK Trade and Investment UKIBC works closely with our colleagues at UK Trade and Investment to support UK companies' aspirations towards India.
