Information technology (IT) can make healthcare accessible and affordable to more people in the country, industry lobby the National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) said on Monday. "IT can provide access to healthcare facilities. Also, it can have a positive impact on affordability and effectiveness of healthcare in India," said Som Mittal, president of Nasscom at the Health 2.0 conference. Experts from the healthcare sector came together for the conference that emphasises on innovation and IT in health services.
