Toby Greenbury is a consultant with Mishcon de Reya, a leading London law firm, and also the Firm's Director of International Strategy and Co-Head of the Firm's India Desk. He was previously Senior Partner of DJ Freeman, another well-known London law firm.
Toby is a corporate lawyer and has been involved in a broad spectrum of company and commercial, and corporate finance, work both within the United Kingdom and internationally.
Inrecent years, he has focused on India and acts for a range of companiesinvolved in trade, investment and business between the United Kingdom andIndia. In particular, he was instrumental in the flotation in December 2005 ofGreat Eastern Energy Corporation on the Alternative Investment Market of theLondon Stock Exchange (AIM) - this was the first Indian company to come to AIM- as well as the flotation of Trinity Capital PLC, ofwhich he was the Founder. Trinity was the first real estate fundfocusing on India to come to AIM, raising £250m in April 2006. He, and Mishconde Reya, have been involved in several other India-related IPOs on AIM.
At Mishcon de Reya, Toby heads a group of lawyers focusing on India, covering a range of expertise, including corporate and corporate finance, IT and outsourcing, litigation and immigration.
As well as being qualified in England, Toby is also a member of the New York Bar.
