Anthony Good

Anthony Good
Anthony Good founded what became Good Relations Group PLC (the first public relations consultancy to become a fully listed public company) after a period as management trainee with Distillers Group, a spell in journalism and five years with the then largest independent airline group, starting as Public Relations Officer and ending up with a group marketing role.

His involvement with India began in 1970 when Grindlays Bank bought Cox & Kings Ltd and gave Good Relations the task of turning the travel company into a leading tour operator specialising in India. In 1971 he was appointed to the Board of Cox & Kings, becoming Chairman in 1975 and was also a director of Grindlays Commercial Holdings Ltd during the period that Cox & Kings remained a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bank. In 1980 Grindlays had to dispose of all its non-banking interests and he became joint owner of Cox & Kings. He is now Chairman of both the UK and Indian Cox & Kings companies as well as of Good Relations (India) Ltd.

In addition to his involvements in India he is Chairman of The Flagship Group, a conglomerate of public relations and marketing communications companies formed in 1999. He was a founder-director of International Motors and currently sits on the boards of, One Squared Ltd, Sage Organic Ltd, Relish Events Ltd and of the Tranquil Moment Ltd. He currently advises Marks & Spencer plc, Adam & Company plc, Early Learning Centre, and Scottish & Newcastle plc.
